Les Colognes Louis Vuitton
The renowned French fashion house Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest offering: a collection of unisex fragrances named Les Colognes. This new line features three distinct scents, each inspired by the perpetual summer ambiance of Los Angeles. The fragrances, titled Sun Song, Cactus Garden, and Afternoon Swim, have been expertly crafted by master perfumer Jacques Cavalier Belletrud, using a selection of rare and exclusive raw materials to capture the warm, laid-back spirit of California.
Since its establishment in 1854, Louis Vuitton has been known for its unique creations that blend technical innovation with style, consistently aiming for the highest standards of quality. With Les Colognes, the maison continues to honor its authentic ‘Art of Travel’ ethos, presenting three new fragrances that evoke the essence of endless vacations and idyllic destinations filled with sunshine, gardens, and the sea.
Crafted by the legendary French perfumer Jacques Cavalier Belletrud, this collection marks Louis Vuitton’s first foray into unisex perfumes. Each fragrance in the collection embodies the vibrant spirit of Los Angeles, with Sun Song, Cactus Garden, and Afternoon Swim encapsulating the colors and endless nights of summer through their fresh and enduring compositions made from natural raw materials.
Olfactorily, Sun Song offers a gentle caress of sunlight with notes of orange blossom. Cactus Garden blends the refreshing essence of maté, a South American tea, with the robust and bitter tones of Calabrian bergamot, finished with a zesty touch of lemongrass. Afternoon Swim features a medley of orange, mandarin, and bergamot notes.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant hues of summer and the fragrance of optimism, Louis Vuitton collaborated with Los Angeles-based artist Alex Israel for the packaging design. Influenced by the modernity of his surroundings, Israel’s artwork also adorns a special travel case designed to carry an individual fragrance bottle.
